also: a CTA-less landing page and an "irreplaceable" VC dude

Hey,
TLDR: thanks to a true, no-effing-around cash flow rut, I need to fill my project pipeline immediately. You get to benefit from that.
If you’ve been procrastinating on your copy, messaging, and product marketing until “after this one project,” you can now offload it all from your plate to mine. (At insultingly low rates.)
Things I can help you with this week:
un-stuck that landing page so that they convert again
clear the “supercharging” infestation on your homepage
write fool-proof feature pages that get your ICP excited (like this one)
create ads that may get you on /r/LinkedInLunatics but, like, in a good way
write a demo video script that doesn’t sound like you’re talking to VCs
record a video audit of your website, pointing out conversion bottlenecks and ways to solve those
If you’re into this, let’s chat and see if this is a fit.
The launch page without a CTA button
This is one of my favorite things I’ve seen in a good while. (Admittedly, it took me a minute to appreciate this fully.)
OpenPhone recently launched their second product — an AI agent to pick up missed calls instead of sending people to voicemail.
A gem of a feature aside, this launch LP does something awesome right in the hero.
The hero has ZERO buttons.
Instead of a cookie-cutter CTA button or two, you get a phone number to talk to the AI agent yourself.
Which does a few things:
catches you off guard
lets the skeptic in you see that this isn't a glorified robo-caller
gets you actively inquiring about the product (even if with an AI)
gives the PMM team refined messaging gold on the back end
puts the product team on the receiving end of the new feature
This has layers, and they're all awesome—props to the team for thinking of that and executing it well.
Your product may or may not lend itself well to such execution, but it never hurts to consider an unorthodox approach like this.
VC problems
One of the reasons I miss Twitter is the “VCs congratulating themselves” satire account. A quote from Marc Andreessen came across my feed, and I couldn’t help but cosplay that account for one hot minute.
Some of you found it funny, some had a few words to say.

Until next time, and don’t forget to do the thing here.
